Do you deliver?

Yes we are very proud to offer a five star delivery for a nominal fee. Delivery includes in home placement and set up for all furniture. You can find more information about deliveries here.

Can I pick up and handle my own delivery?

Yes, we will be glad to help you load your purchases and suggest that you bring plenty of blankets and tie downs. When transporting your furniture it is your responsibility to assemble and place all items.

What is your low-price guarantee?

Horton’s will meet any advertised price of any retail store within 100 miles of our location on identical new quality merchandise within 30 days of your purchase.

Do you offer a warranty?

Horton’s warrants all items purchased from us (excluding clearance or as is merchandise) for 1 full year against manufacturers workmanship or defects.

For added piece of mind, we also offer the Protection 1st plan for purchase. This plan offers a 5 year warranty against defects and accidental damage. We even take it one step further. If no claims are made during your Protection 1st warranty , Horton’s will credit half the purchase price of the plan back to you in the form of a Horton’s gift certificate.

What is your return policy?

Stock merchandise may be returned within 48 hours for an exchange or refund as long as merchandise is in new condition. All clearance and “as is” merchandise is non-returnable. Delivery fees are non-refundable.

How can I keep my furniture looking new?

Upholstery:

Vacuum regularly with the hose attachment and upholstery tool on your vacuum. Keeping it clean and dust free. Of course we realize it is easier said than done, but avoid eating or drinking on furniture and keep pets off. We always recommend when furniture gets soiled to use a professional cleaner

Wood Furniture or Case goods:

First keep your furniture dust free by using a dry clean cloth. Use a better quality polish as needed. Always use coasters for drinking glasses and avoid putting anything hot directly on wood tops. Use placemats to help protect table tops from every day use.

I have a very small room, do I have to paint it beige and use small furniture?

No way! You can have a lot of drama in a small room. Just be careful mixing to much pattern. You could do a dark rich color on the walls and ceiling and a large cozy piece or two of furniture. Maybe add a tall palm and an up light or floor lamp to set the mood. Add a little texture with a contrast color in a throw or pillows. Use an ottoman with a tray, it doubles as a cocktail table or use it for extra seating.

Is it okay to place furniture in front of windows?

Yes, if fact if it is a window without a view , you can get very creative with layering. I have put a king bed in a clients bedroom by making an odd window in the room look like the focal point. A woven shade over the small window and most of the wall, flanked by side panel drapes, or even cover the wall and window with shutters or louvered doors. By placing the king bed if front of the treatment, the room ended up looking larger and more balanced.

Is it okay to mix leather upholstery and fabric upholstery in the same room?

Yes it is okay. Sometimes having all leather or all the same fabric can look cold or a little boring. While there are many factors to consider in each individual room, mixing leather and fabric usually enhances the room. You will often see furniture grouped in matching sofa, love seat and chair on the showroom of many stores. Very seldom do you find pieces that are all matching when looking in design magazines.
